Entrata

The entrance to the house

The museum is characterized by the incredible whiteness due to the colour uniformity of walls, floor and stairs, entirely tiled in stoneware.
There is a selection of sculptures that the Maestro arranged in the courtyard surrounding the house. To the left there is a large glass panel towering above a marble slab: it is Brindisi’s resting place, designed by Nanda Vigo.
Once inside visitors can admire the large “mural” by Lucio Fontana covering the entire wall left of the entrance.

Lucio Fontana’s masterpiece

This “mural” is entitled “ Cavallo ” – “ Horse ” and dates to 1957. It is a graffiti on plaster. It is over six metres long and almost three and half metres high. It was purchased by Maestro Brindisi in Milan.
This work can be considered one of Fontana’s masterpiece in his artistic production.
