Lo Studio del Maestro

Il luogo si conserva così come è stato lasciato dal maestro al momento della sua scomparsa.
Sulla parete c’è il grande dipinto a tema sociale risalente al 1969. C’è anche una selezione delle opere sia “storiche” che dell’ultimo periodo. Vi figurano dipinti celebri come “Giocatori di Carte”. Ci sono anche opere grafiche, dagli anni ’30 in avanti.
Sulla parete, a fianco dell’armadio, si vedono ritratti di familiari di Brindisi: dall’alto il bisnonno, suo nonno e suo padre.
La tenda alla finestra fu dipinta da brindisi. Sul mobiletto a vetri, una sua ceramica (Uccelli Rapaci).
Ci sono anche oggetti di design tra cui la scrivania “Essential” di Nanda Vigo per Driade del 1971.

The Maestro’s atelier

The place has been preserved as the Maestro left it when he died.
On the wall there is the large social-theme painting dating to 1969. There is also a selection of Mr. Brindisi’s works of both the early and the late years. Among the most important works, there is the famous painting “Giocatori di carte” – Card Players (1941). There are also graphic works dating to the 1930’s and later.
On the wall next to the cabinet are portraits of members of Mr. Brindisi’s family: from top to bottom, his great-grandfather, his grandfather and his father.
The curtain at the window it was also painted by Brindisi. On the glass cabinet, a ceramic by him ( Uccelli Rapaci – Birds of Prey, 1983).
There are some pieces of design furniture and objects in the room, among which the desk “Essential”, designed by Nanda Vigo for Driade in 1971.
